Prepare for My Pay Online Bill Payment Upgrade

The Bank of Salem is upgrading My Pay on March 30, 2015 to make paying bills better, easier and more convenient than ever. This upgrade should not disrupt your service. In fact, we’re making the entire upgrade as simple and seamless as possible for you. 
Here’s what you can expect when your My Pay upgrades on March 30, 2015:

• You will be prompted to answer a challenge phrase the first time you log in to your upgraded My Pay account.
• All of your payees and any scheduled payments will automatically carry over to the new system.
• If you need to add a new payee, just select the “Add a Payee” button at the top of your dashboard.
• For more information about adding payees and scheduling payments, go to the “Help” tab in your My Pay.

The Bank of Salem Debit MasterCard functions like a MasterCard credit card, but instead of accessing a line-of-credit, transactions post directly to a customer’s checking account. The Bank of Salem Debit MasterCard also functions as an ATM Card to access banking services 24 hours a day. As an added convenience, our Debit MasterCard users have the option of choosing their own PIN numbers. For information on how to select your own PIN number, contact our Operations Department at 573-729-3137 or visit our main bank office at 100 W. Fourth St. in downtown Salem.

Use your Bank of Salem Debit MasterCard at millions of locations that accept MasterCard. Carrying a Debit Card reduces the need to carry large sums of cash and eliminates delays caused by check approval processes.

There are no fees assessed for purchases made with a Bank of Salem Debit MasterCard. There is a $1.00 charge per transaction done at non-proprietary ATM’s.

Lost / Stolen or Debit Card Fraud

To report a lost or stolen Debit Card, or to report suspected fraud on your Debit Card, contact the Bank of Salem Operations Department during regular business hours at (573) 729-3137. To report a lost or stolen Debit card after hours, contact Shazam at 1-800-383-8000. To report suspected fraud on your Debit Card after hours, contact Shazam at 1-866-508-2693.
